Frequently Asked Questions

How do you describe your style?

I also can the traditional soft sentimental style but I definitely gravitate towards a more upbeat casual style (you can see an example here). Typically I determine the style by observing several traits in the wedding such as song choices, energy level, location etc. If you prefer one style over another let me know and I’ll do my best to accommodate you.

Why should I have a videographer when I’ll probably watch and share it once?

Wedding sites like the Knot polled both brides that opt-out of and hired videographers and the results were very visceral. Brides that didn’t have videography often felt overwhelming regret because they remembered very small portions of their wedding because it went so fast or they were in a “blissful daze”. They expressed that videos capture something that photos can’t and they wished they spent the money capture the magic of the day.

Why should I hire you?

When you look at your video and reminisce on your experience, I want you feel you got way more than what you paid for. The packages I offer clients were crafted to be:

  • Captivating - so you can watch it till the end

  • Valuable - so you can use it for more than just good memories

  • Relatable - so others can feel invested in your story

Why do you take so small amount of clients?

I really want to focus on providing each client with value that exceeds their budget and doing this requires careful planning. Many clients have a hard time justifying the worth of videography so by providing an exceptional experience and phenomenal products that are useful before, during and after the wedding is paramount.

How do you interact with the photographers?

I love working with other photographers. If you have a photographer I give them first dibs on poses and I work around him/her. The only thing I request is that I in addition to the time you give for photos I need 30 mins - 45 mins with the couple to get video specific poses.

How long before I get the final footage?

This can vary on the several factors. Typically the videos take between 4 - 8 weeks.

How does your pricing work?

Think of it like an ice cream shop where you get a to choose a base flavor and then you can choose additional toppings. The more toppings you add the more tasty and epic you ice cream (wedding film) will be! 😁
